Job summary
Good Samaritan Medical Center is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to partner with clinical and departmental teams to optimize inventory management, product utilization, and ordering processes. You will support strategic initiatives, analyze data, and drive operational efficiency while maintaining clinical quality and fiscal accountability.
The role emphasizes cycle counts, PAR level reviews, recalls, and cross-functional collaboration to implement process improvements and sustain service
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required; 3–5 years in healthcare supply chain procurement or inventory management.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- CPIM/CMRP/CPSM or similar certifications are desirable.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and report inventory and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
- Participate in cycle counts, PAR reviews, and inventory accuracy activities.
- Lead efficiency initiatives to reduce waste and improve cost and quality of service.
- Oversee non-stock and specialty purchasing processes to align with operational needs.
- Collaborate with department leaders on product conversions and cost-saving opportunities.
- Coordinate recalls, returns, and corrective actions with root-cause analysis.
