Job summary

Mary Free Bed is seeking a Supply Chain Assistant in Grand Rapids, MI to coordinate material flow and maintain inventory levels across departments. You will support inventory management, distribution, and interdepartmental collaboration to ensure uninterrupted patient care.

The role requires attention to expiration dates, organized storage, and training staff on restocking processes. Hours are Monday–Friday with Saturday rotation, and compensation starts at $18/hour, dependent on experience.

Responsibilities

• Stock patient rooms with supplies to established PAR levels.
• Maintain and stock patient-specific supplies as requested by clinicians.
• Stock PPE and other supplies to ensure availability around the clock.
• Round and spot-check expiration dates and rotating stock across departments.
• Maintain organized Central Supply and storage areas.
• Update Crash Cart and train staff on restocking processes.
• Assist with inventory records and PAR level maintenance.
• Contribute to periodic inventory and year-end counts.
• Label products and inventory with reference numbers.
• Notify colleagues of defective equipment and arrange repairs.
• Ensure equipment functionality for clinical teams.
• Other duties as assigned.
