Advocate Health’s 7-week Summer Internship Program offers high school students aged 16+ a hands-on introduction to hospital operations through rotations across clinical, administrative, and support functions.

The on-site role runs 6/14/2027–7/30/2027, up to 24 hours per week, Monday–Friday, with educational activities, observing experiences, and projects designed to build workplace skills and expose careers in health care.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in high school and aged 16+ before the start of the internship.
• Demonstrated interest in exploring health care careers.
• Computer skills required.

Responsabilités

• Intern will rotate through or support various departments, gaining exposure to clinical, administrative, operational and support functions.
• Under supervision, interns will participate in educational activities, observational experiences and assigned projects.
• Hours are up to 24 per week, Monday through Friday, on-site.
