Job summary

Advocate Health Care is offering a 7-week Summer Internship Program for high school students aged 16+. This on-site role provides meaningful work across clinical, administrative, operational and support functions, with rotations and hands-on learning.

Participants will join educational activities and professional development events, gain exposure to hospital operations, and work up to 24 hours per week Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in high school and aged 16+ before the start of the internship.
• Demonstrated interest in exploring health care careers.
• Computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Support a variety of departments through rotations or assignments.
• Participate in educational activities and projects under supervision.
• Develop foundational workplace and professional skills during the internship.
