You’ll inform HR of hiring needs and maintain accurate staffing schedules in a centralized system.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience as Staffing Coordinator / Scheduler in healthcare preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Proficient with scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain four-week staff schedules for patient care staff.
• Monitor schedules daily and secure replacements for gaps.
• Keep electronic scheduling system up to date reflecting staffing schedule.
• Verify employee attendance and inform HR of absences or tardiness.
• Coordinate time-off requests to ensure proper nursing unit coverage.
• Develop good rapport with interdepartmental personnel.
