First Day Homecare® in Edison, NJ is seeking a motivated Healthcare Staffing & Care Coordinator to recruit nurses and caregivers, coordinate staffing schedules, support onboarding, and ensure families receive reliable homecare services.

You will collaborate with field staff and management, assist with HR processes, and participate in an after-hours on-call rotation. This full-time role offers growth opportunities within a growing organization.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and multitasking skills
• Strong organizational abilities and problem-solving attitude
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
• Comfortable working independently and with a team
• Healthcare recruiting or HR experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Recruit qualified nurses and caregivers through various channels
• Coordinate staffing schedules and fill open shifts
• Oversee onboarding, credential verification, and training coordination
• Maintain personnel files and track licenses/certifications
• Support employee engagement and communication between staff and management
• Assist with timekeeping, payroll verification, and administrative tasks
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotation
