Kern River Transitional Care is seeking an organized, dependable Assistant Director of Staff Development to support the Director with orientation, in-service education, training records, recruitment, safety programs, and other admin duties. This full-time role requires comfort with 12-hour shifts and weekends.

You will help coordinate new-employee orientation, maintain training records, and support staff development across departments. Strong communication and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
• Ability to manage records and multiple deadlines with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Follow schedules, policies, and procedures.
• Organize new-employee orientation and ensure compliance.
• Maintain orientation and training records; coordinate in-service programs.
• Assist with scheduling, documentation, and payroll duties as assigned.
• Maintain confidentiality and support health and safety programs.
