Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, seeks a Sous Chef for a 25-bed critical access facility in Iron Mountain, MI. You will oversee culinary operations, supervise ~15 hourly staff, and partner with the Director of Dining Services to develop menus and manage ordering.

This energetic culinary role offers a leadership path in healthcare dining, with a focus on quality, cost control, and program development within a supportive hospital setting.

Qualificações

• Culinary degree or certification preferred.
• Progressive kitchen management experience required.
• Experience in high-volume foodservice operations is desirable.
• Experience with institutional, batch cooking and catering helpful.
• Knowledge of food cost controls, sanitation, and presentation.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in cost controls and expenditure management.
• Assist in planning and creating menus.
• Produce and execute catering events.
• Roll out new culinary programs with marketing and culinary team.
