Morrison Healthcare in the United States seeks a Sous Chef to oversee the Culinary Department operations for a facility. You will assist in supervision, preparation, and cooking, develop daily menus, and work with the Executive Chef to plan and implement new programs, with an eye toward quality and cost efficiency.

The role offers opportunities to lead kitchen operations, manage catering events, and contribute to menu development in a high-volume environment.

Qualifikationen

• A.S. or equivalent experience.
• Progressive culinary/kitchen management experience; degree/training considered.
• Catering experience is a plus.
• High volume, complex foodservice operations experience desirable.
• Institutional and batch cooking experience helpful.
• Knowledge of food and catering trends with focus on quality, sanitation, cost controls, and presentation.
• Experience with computers; MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, Email, Internet.
• Willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs/activities.
• ServSafe certification is highly desirable.

Aufgaben

• Assists the Executive Chef with managing cost controls and expenditures for the account.
• Assists the Executive Chef with planning and creating menus.
• Produces and executes catering events.
• Rolls out new culinary programs in conjunction with Company marketing and culinary team.
