Job summary

PrimeCare Managers, LLC is seeking a Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain healthcare tools that support PrimeCare Managers and our ACO partners. You will work on secure, scalable applications and APIs that improve care coordination, population health, and patient outcomes.

You will integrate data from EHRs, billing, and labs using HL7/FHIR standards, ensure HIPAA compliance, and collaborate with clinical, administrative, and technical teams to deliver value-based care solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Experience building tools/programs that can interact with multiple APIs
• Knowledge of healthcare data exchange protocols and security best practices
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain secure, scalable healthcare applications and APIs
• Build web-based overlays that function across multiple EHRs to record HCC, Quality, and Utilization metrics and display them at the point of care
• Integrate data from EHRs, billing, and lab systems using healthcare standards (HL7, FHIR)
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and high data security standards
• Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and technical teams to deliver solutions that drive value-based care
