The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and advanced technical support, with day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and opportunities to advance professional expertise in simulation technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Two years of healthcare simulation experience required.
• Alternate: two years of AV/IT/theatre/art-related experience may offset degree/healthcare sim requirements.
• CHSOS certification within three years of hire is required.
• SOS <em>in surgical simulation labs</em> may waive CHSOS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced operational and technical support for simulation-based education.
• Independently manage complex simulation, audiovisual, and IT technologies.
• Lead local simulation course delivery and support educators through integration of simulation environments.
• Configure and operate simulation systems to ensure safe, reliable, and high-quality experiences.
• Perform routine testing, maintenance, and vendor-supported repairs of equipment.
• Collaborate with educators to design, deliver, and evaluate simulation scenarios.
• Provide training for new simulation staff and lead small projects.
