The Cypress of Charlotte is seeking a warm, service‑minded Healthcare Server to join our dining team serving health center residents. You will prepare and serve meals that meet individual dietary needs and contribute to a welcoming dining experience.

The role emphasizes hospitality, teamwork, and attention to sanitation. Experience in healthcare food service preferred; weekend availability may be required. Competitive benefits include health coverage and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months nursing home food service experience.

Position: Healthcare Server, Full-time & Part-time

Schedules:

Full-time schedules include:

• Flexible availability to work work 1st and 2nd shifts including weekends.
• 11:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. including weekends.

Part-time schedule: 4:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and must be available on weekends.

Pay: $15 - 15.86 per hour (depending on experience) + $600 Sign On Bonus!

Position Summary:

• Prepare simple desserts and salads with care.
• Serve meals in the health center with a friendly, attentive approach.

• Delivers hot and cold foods and non-food items to residents at the health center to support a smooth meal service.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of six months’ experience in nursing home food service preferred.
• Fundamental working knowledge of therapeutic diets, sanitation and personal hygiene.
• Ability to understand, follow and perform simple arithmetic.
• Ability to plan and organize work, set up trays and plates in accordance with diet orders and interpret specifications and standards.
• Ability to work in close cooperation with residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisor and peers. Requires empathy for the elderly.
• Must be able to effectively communicate, read, write, and follow oral and writteninstructions in English.
