Job summary

Pruitthealth Corporation in Norcross, GA seeks a Senior Accountant - Cash to ensure GAAP compliance, record and reconcile transactions across multiple entities, and prepare balance sheets and income statements during month-end close.

You will lead and train staff, liaise with operations and Finance, analyze variances, support external audits, and identify process improvements. Must have healthcare accounting experience and proficiency with PeopleSoft and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting required. Graduate degree preferred.
• 5 years' experience in the Healthcare field or related area with high-volume accounting.
• Strong collaboration and teamwork to achieve goals.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Experience with PeopleSoft or similar ERP system.
• Intermediate Excel skills: formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs.
• Attention to detail and strong computational skills.
• Experience with reconciliations and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Prepares journal entries, reconciliations, and analyses for multiple lines of business.
• May assist with indirect tax returns (sales, property, unclaimed property).
• Review and code AP invoices; assist with audit schedules.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including bank reconciliations.
• Act as liaison between operations and Finance for a service line.
• Analyze variances and identify process improvements.
• Lead, train, or review work of staff accountants; manage priorities.
