Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting or equivalent experience.
• At least two to five years of transactional accounting experience.
• Ability to research, analyze and respond to complex questions and problems.
• Ability to interpret and analyze financial data, reports, or other financial documents.
• Ability to reconcile accounts with other systems on a periodic basis.
• Ability to develop financial policies and procedures.
• Strong critical thinking and data gathering skills.
• Solid knowledge of internal controls and GAAP for governments.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and database applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized accounting functions and manage multiple funds and subledgers.
• Independently perform complex financial calculations, reconciliations, and journal entries in accordance with GAAP.
• Review and adjust member accounts following ETF policies and state statutes.
• Analyze, develop, and implement procedures to improve efficiency of work plans.
• Support financial reporting and analysis across various funds and data sources.
