Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate surveillance and access control systems.
• De-escalation: calm conflicts using verbal/non-verbal strategies.
• Intervene in violent patient incidents; use restraints if necessary.
• Ensure HIPAA compliant reporting of incidents.
• Respond to bomb threats and suspicious packages following protocol.
• Participate in drills (infant abduction, active shooter).
• Conduct searches of patients safely and lawfully.
• Perform safety inspections of surfaces and extinguishers.
• Enforce parking regulations for safety and accessibility.
• Collaborate with HR and law enforcement for investigations.
