The position requires 3 years in security or related fields, with a preference for 2 years of supervisory experience. Certifications and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Required: Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Required: 3 years in a security role, law enforcement, or military discipline, or equivalent training.
• Preferred: 3 years in a security role with 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Certifications: Licensure/certification as required by state law; valid state driver's license; AHA BLS, CPI.

Responsibilities

• Set up weekly guard schedule and monitor overtime.
• Supervise subordinates and evaluate performance.
• Investigate campus security incidents and prepare reports.
• Monitor irregularities, security breaches, safety hazards, and emergencies.
• Respond to medical emergencies and fire alarms; direct security personnel.
• Act as Incident Commander during crises and drills.
