Valley Baptist - Brownsville Hospital is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer to help maintain a safe environment for employees, patients, physicians, students, vendors and visitors. You will monitor facilities, respond to incidents, and assist with emergencies while delivering strong customer service.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2 years in security or 3 years in customer service, a valid state driver’s license, and AHA BLS certification.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 2 years in a security role, or 3 years in customer service with security training.
• Licensure/certification as required by state law and a valid driver’s license.
• AHA BLS certification is required.

Responsabilidades

• Protect life, property, information, and reputation by monitoring and securing entrances/exits and directing authorized personnel.
• Evaluate and respond to events and incidents per system policies.
• Provide exceptional service to staff, patients, visitors, and physicians.
• Respond to emergencies and disturbances following policy and training.
• Prepare and submit all incident documentation as required.
• Maintain knowledge of security orders and regulatory requirements.
