Intermountain Health St Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, MT is seeking a Security Officer to maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will monitor CCTV and access controls, respond to emergencies, and enforce policies while ensuring HIPAA compliance and safety protocols.

The role involves conducting safety inspections, participating in drills (e.g., active shooter scenarios), and collaborating with HR for investigations.

Qualifications

• Current Driver’s License (if applicable for the role).
• Current Basic Life Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers or willing to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Montana location may require Security Guard Licensure within 120 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Operate and monitor security technology systems including surveillance cameras, access control, and alarms.
• De-escalate conflicts using verbal and non-verbal strategies.
• Respond to emergencies and protect employees, patients, visitors, and Intermountain property.
• Participate in drills and perform safety inspections of walking surfaces and equipment.
• Collaborate with HR and law enforcement for investigations and maintain regulatory compliance including HIPAA.
