Qualifications

• Current Driver’s License (if applicable for the role).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum age 21 years.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor security technology, cameras, access control, and alarms.
• De-escalate conflicts using verbal and non-verbal techniques.
• Protect patients, staff and visitors; manage violent or disruptive individuals.
• Ensure HIPAA-compliant reporting of incidents and limited data disclosure.
• Respond to bomb threats and suspicious packages per protocol.
• Participate in drills like infant abduction and active shooter scenarios.
• Search patients safely and legally; inspect safety equipment and premises.
• Conduct safety inspections of walkways, extinguishers, and facilities.
• Enforce parking regulations to safeguard patients and access.
• Collaborate with HR and law enforcement on investigations.
