Job summary

Allied Universal in Milton, MA is seeking a Security Officer Care Environment Patrol to safeguard patients, visitors and staff in a healthcare setting. You will patrol assigned areas, deter incidents, and provide a welcoming environment while maintaining a visible presence.

This full-time role offers a daytime schedule with multiple shifts, a pay rate of $18.32 per hour, and opportunities for CPR/First Aid training, career growth, and benefits as part of our trusted security team.

Qualifications

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to restrain individuals.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check per laws.
• Drug screen per law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations calmly following site protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols throughout hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, reporting unusual activity.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, checking credentials, and directing patients/visitors.
• Document incidents and patrol activities accurately and communicate information to leadership and site contacts.
