Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patient Care Security in Milton, MA. This part-time unarmed officer will patrol hospital areas, assist patients and staff, monitor access points, and respond to emergencies with calm professionalism.

The position offers daytime and weekend shifts, pay rate of $18.32 per hour, and access to our Shift-claim platform. Vaccination and age requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, behavioral concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established hospital protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, patient care areas, parking facilities, entrances, and surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directional support, and access-control procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to hospital personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
