Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Patrol Driver for a healthcare facility in Wooster, OH. This full-time role conducts routine patrols, maintains a visible security presence, and delivers excellent customer service while protecting patients, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and directions while maintaining a professional presence in a healthcare setting.
• Document observations, incidents, and actions taken in accordance with site-specific reporting procedures.
