Job summary

Allied Universal in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Hospital Patrol Driver to serve patients, visitors, and staff across healthcare locations. This unarmed patrol role offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to earn extra shifts through our Claim a Shift platform, with pay of $16.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include monitoring access points, conducting patrols, responding to incidents, and maintaining accurate incident logs.

Qualifications

• Willing to receive required hospital vaccinations.
• Willing to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and other facility occupants by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with facility personnel and public responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, reporting unusual conditions, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for incidents, patrols, and security-related observations.
