Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring an Security Officer Full Time Healthcare Facility Patrol in Lorain, OH. You will provide patient, visitor, and staff security services in a healthcare setting, maintaining a calm, professional presence and following site protocols.

The role involves regular patrols, monitoring access points, and documenting incidents. A high school diploma is required, with CPR/First Aid preferred, and background checks and drug screening per policy.

Qualifications

• Meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations calmly and follow site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to identify hazards.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, wayfinding, and site access procedures.
• Document incidents and patrol activities accurately and communicate findings to leadership and site contacts.
