Allied Universal, a leading security services provider, seeks a Security Officer for full-time unarmed patrol duties in Tempe, AZ. You will monitor healthcare locations, deter incidents, and maintain a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

The role emphasizes customer service, professional communication, and adherence to site procedures. Candidates should have basic security experience and be at least 18 years old; CPR/First Aid is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities within a healthcare and life sciences location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, laboratories, office areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and support a secure environment.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, maintain visitor records, and assist with access-related requests in accordance with site policies.
