Job summary

Residents work a 32-hour day shift with rotating weekends and holidays. Under the Security Supervisor, you will provide escorts, de-escalate disturbances, complete incident reports, and coordinate with campus departments to maintain safety.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; active US driver's license.
• 3–6 months of military, police, fire, corrections, behavioral health, or healthcare security experience preferred; degrees may be considered in lieu of experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, report writing, and good customer service/communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Patrol facility and grounds, inspect hazards, and respond to alarms and emergencies.
• Enforce access control; issue badges and verify identifications.
• Provide escorts for staff, patients, and visitors as directed by security supervisor.
• Respond to codes and emergencies; assist with emergency plans and EOC setup.
• Assist in traffic control and parking guidance; manage helicopter landings if required.
• Conduct preliminary investigations; document findings and file incident reports.
• Maintain professional conduct and deliver high-quality customer service.
