Job summary

Community Health Network is seeking a Security Officer to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. The role involves managing critical incidents, maintaining patient valuables, and establishing an active security presence throughout our facilities.

Successful candidates will have a High School Diploma, an Indiana Driver’s License, and ideally, prior experience in security within a healthcare setting. This position requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.

Qualifications

• One year of security experience in a healthcare or related setting preferred.
• Must obtain Hazmat Certification Level 1 and Indiana License to Carry a Handgun within one year from hire.
• Ability to utilize departmental policy and the Use of Force Continuum guidelines.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.

Responsibilities

• Provide an overall environment of safety and security.
• Support the patient delivery system and minimize disruption.
