Community Health Network in Indiana seeks a Security Officer to maintain a safe, secure environment for patients, visitors and caregivers.

The role includes incident response, safeguarding patient valuables, inventory of weapons, and coordination with law enforcement as needed. Indiana driver’s license and high school diploma required; hazmat and handgun licenses may be required within a year.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Current Indiana Driver’s License required.
• One year of security experience in a healthcare or related setting preferred.
• Hazmat Certification Level 1 and Indiana License to Carry a Handgun within one year from hire.
• Ability to utilize departmental policy and Use of Force Continuum guidelines.
• Assists Law Enforcement.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
• Leadership skills.
• Organizational skills.
• Ability to work under stressful situations.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Responsabilidades

• Provide an overall environment of safety and security for patients, visitors and caregivers.
• Manage critical incidents and ensure rapid, appropriate responses.
• Protect patient valuables and manage weapons under control, with inventory logs.
• Establish a visible security presence across Community Health Network locations.
• Provide surveillance, personal escort, courier service, vehicle assistance and inspections.
