Community Health Network seeks a Security Officer for Community Hospital East Night Shift. You will contribute to a safe environment, manage incidents, protect patient valuables, and provide escorts and vehicle assistance as needed.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, healthcare security experience, and possession of Hazmat Level 1 and Indiana handgun licensing within one year. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year security experience in a healthcare or related setting preferred.
• Must obtain Hazmat Certification Level 1 and Indiana License to Carry a Handgun within one year from hire.
• Ability to utilize departmental policy and the Use of Force Continuum guidelines, e.g., AIDET, AVADE de-escalation skills, Defensive Tactics, Pepper Spray, TASER, citizen arrest.
• Assists Law Enforcement.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment effectively.
• Organizational skills.
• Ability to work under stressful situations.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Ability to be detail oriented.

Responsabilidades

• Provide an overall environment of safety and security for the hospital.
• Support patient delivery operations while minimizing disruption and rendering service support as needed.
• Manage critical incidents and protect patient valuables and property.
• Establish an active security presence with surveillance, escorts, courier services, and vehicle assistance.
• Maintain property inventory logs and ensure accountability across locations.
