Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Technology Support in Newtown Square, PA. You will monitor healthcare facilities, deter unauthorized activity, and provide superior customer service to patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facility areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific protocols, reporting access concerns and security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following post orders and escalation procedures.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
