Responsibilities include campus patrols, emergency responses, and using de-escalation techniques when necessary. A valid WA driver’s license, BLS, and MOAB/MOHAB related certs are required within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Washington State Driver’s license required, no criminal violations.
• Healthcare provider BLS certification required.
• IAHSS Basic Healthcare Security Officer certification required within one year.
• MOAB certification due within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, patients and visitors.
• Assess evolving events quickly and determine interventions.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure outcomes.
• Interact with the public, answer questions, give directions and respond to concerns.
• Patrol campus and off-campus locations; respond to emergencies and use de-escalation when needed.
