Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state issued driver’s license.
• Possess IAHSS Basic certification as a Healthcare Security Officer within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic public safety duties and patrol facilities and grounds.
• Respond to routine and emergency calls for service and document incidents.
• Provide escorts to patients, visitors, staff and others per procedures.
• Identify safety hazards and report deficiencies for follow-up.
• Maintain hospital ID badges for all employees and visitors.
• Assist with emergencies and disasters as directed by supervisors.
