Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in healthcare security preferred.
• Experience monitoring surveillance systems and writing reports.
• Training in safety, fire protection, emergency procedures and planning.
• Ability to respond quickly to emergencies and non-emergency situations.
• Excellent written and spoken English; effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible deterrence to crime and suspicious activity in hospital areas.
• Escort visitors, patients, and staff as needed throughout the facility.
• Complete Healthcare Security Competency Tasks with management.
• Ensure staff understand and comply with laws, regulations, and policies.
• Maintain composure and coordinate during emergencies.
