Responsibilities

• Provide visible deterrence to crime and suspicious activities in public and non-public areas.
• Escort and assist visitors, patients, and staff throughout organization.
• Respond to security emergencies rapidly and follow emergency procedures.
• Maintain compliance with laws and hospital policies (HIPAA, FERPA, The Clery Act).
• Complete security documentation for regulatory agencies and management.
• Monitor and log security activities and communicate with security leadership.
