Keck Hospital of USC is seeking a dedicated Security Officer to maintain a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors. You will patrol premises, manage access, and enforce security procedures across hospital facilities.

Qualified candidates will have relevant healthcare security experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to respond quickly to emergencies. This role includes coordinating with security leadership and hospital teams to ensure patient and staff safety.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year related healthcare security experience preferred.
• Experience monitoring surveillance systems and writing reports.
• Pref: training in safety, fire protection, emergency procedures and CPR/AED; IAHSS/BSIS certifications preferred.
• Ability to respond quickly to emergencies and communicate effectively with diverse people.
• Valid California driver's license and security-related certifications within 6 months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Provide deterrence to crime in public and non-public areas.
• Escort and assist visitors, patients, and staff as needed.
• Respond to emergencies and maintain security procedures.
• Prepare incident reports and communicate with hospital staff.
