Keck Hospital of USC in Los Angeles is seeking a Security Officer responsible for patrolling the premises, protecting staff, patients, and visitors, and enforcing regulations across the hospital campus.

You will respond to emergencies, escort people, document incidents, and coordinate with security leadership to maintain a safe environment while upholding HIPAA and Joint Commission standards.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of related experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Experience monitoring surveillance systems and writing reports.
• Strong knowledge of safety and emergency procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse people.

Responsabilidades

• Provide visible deterrence to crime and security at multiple areas.
• Assist with patient and staff safety and escort visitors.
• Respond to emergencies quickly and follow security plans.
• Complete healthcare security competency tasks with management.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, FERPA, and The Joint Commission.
