Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a customer-focused service-based organization.
• Preferred: two years of experience in law enforcement, military or private security.

Responsibilities

• Patrols facilities and grounds on foot or by vehicle according to schedule.
• Investigates unusual occurrences and reports incidents or losses.
• Directs vehicle traffic around hospital facilities and issues parking citations.
• Restraints unruly individuals when necessary and involves police if needed.
• Escort patients and visitors and provide directions across hospital grounds.
• Inspects doors, windows, alarms and safety equipment for proper operation.
• Documents thefts, accidents and other incidents with accurate reporting.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Minimum of 1 year in customer-focused service-based organization

Two years in law enforcement, military or private security (preferred)
