Job summary

Kettering Health Miamisburg is seeking a full-time Police Officer to provide security for patients, visitors, and staff. Responsible for responding to emergencies, enforcing hospital policies, and conducting proactive patrols in alignment with Kettering Health's mission and safety programs.

Required are a high school diploma, OPOTA certification, BLS, non-violent crisis intervention training, firearms qualification, and the ability to pass a physical examination.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• OPOTA certification.
• BLS certification (within 6 months).
• Non-violent crisis intervention training (within 6 months).
• Firearms qualification (bi-annual).
• Must be 21+ and pass fitness exam.

Responsibilities

• Provide law enforcement services within the hospital setting.
• Respond to emergencies and enforce hospital policies and laws.
• Conduct proactive patrols and incident response.
