Job summary

Temple University Hospital is seeking a Security Manager to lead the daily operations of the Main Campus security team, ensuring a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Under supervision of Sr.

Director of Security, you will develop protocols, coordinate with department heads, and drive continuous improvements in security systems and incident response. This role emphasizes collaboration, training, and strategic planning to align security with the hospital's mission and compliance

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
5 years of security/law enforcement supervisory/management experience required.
10+ years in security/law enforcement role preferred.
Driver's license required.

Responsibilities

Plan and manage daily operations of Temple University Hospital, Main Campus security department.
Develop and maintain relations with department heads; establish safety protocols and policies.
Create and maintain a culture of teamwork for a safe environment; proactive security operations.
Oversee integration of security systems and technologies.
Participate in Environment of Care, Emergency Management and Health and Workplace safety committees.
Lead development of work scopes, procedures, policies and strategic planning; ensure staff training.
