Job summary

Mountain View Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces, NM seeks a full-time Security Officer Lead to oversee hospital security operations and lead a team of security officers. The role involves responding to incidents, coordinating with law enforcement, and ensuring safety across the facility.

The position requires leadership in a healthcare environment, strong incident reporting, and the ability to manage and train staff. Schedule is mid (swing) shift; location is on-site at 4311 E Lohman Ave.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in security or law enforcement
• Healthcare or hospital setting experience preferred
• Valid driver license required
• BLS/CPR training or CPI training preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervises and leads security officers and ensures adherence to procedures.
• Monitors surveillance systems and access control to detect breaches.
• Responds to security incidents, disturbances, or medical emergencies calmly and effectively.
• Investigates incidents and documents reports and logs.
• Coordinates with staff and law enforcement to resolve incidents and maintain safety.
• Performs routine security checks of facilities and restricted areas.
• Maintains records and completes investigations in a timely manner.
