Job summary

Assured Home Health in Oregon (part of LHC Group, within the Optum family) is seeking a Scheduling Specialist to manage patient referrals and visit schedules using an online scheduling system.

You will coordinate with the Team Leader to assign clinicians with the right experience, monitor visits, and communicate with field staff to resolve delays, ensuring timely care and smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Required: High school education or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes an automated scheduling system to maintain a calendar of services for episodic and per visit customers.
• Processes workflow for scheduled, missed, rescheduled, reassigned, declined, and delivered visits.
• Monitors pending referrals daily and assigns licensed professional and case manager for start of care visits.
• Communicates daily with field staff regarding visits unaddressed in late, pending, or incomplete status for resolution.
