Responsibilities

• Coordinates and schedules patient testing or procedures with physician offices and hospital staff.
• Enters scheduling data into the hospital computer system and updates patient records.
• Communicates testing instructions and handles pre-registration when needed.
• Maintains daily scheduling data and analyzes scheduling volume for supervision.
• Ensures medical necessity checks and timely scheduling of outpatients.
