Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training may substitute.
• Clerical or administrative experience a plus.
• Knowledge of health care terminology helpful.
• Basic computer program knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in the training of all Customer Service personnel, including new hires
• Answer phone calls and emails
• Make outbound phone calls to schedule patients' appointments; reminder calls included
• Coordinate with Respiratory Therapist about schedules, patients, and changes
• Resolve scheduling conflicts as they occur
• Deletes, corrects, or re-enters patient information in customer accounts and software as deemed necessary
• Strong communication with patients and internal staff
• Carry out oral and written instructions
• Enter patient and medical information using company software
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Time-management and organizational skills to manage multiple expectations in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional interpersonal and active-listening skills; prioritize issues accordingly
• Knowledge of scheduling and basic computer skills are preferred
• Must be local to Clearwater FL home office
