Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking an administrative professional to support provider scheduling and clinic operations within LVPG-S Gastroenterology - Schuylkill. You will collaborate with patient navigators, clinicians, and staff to ensure accurate appointment coordination and timely information flow.

The role requires a High School diploma, healthcare experience, and strong computer skills; preferred associates degree and familiarity with physician scheduling software.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of healthcare experience.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology and scheduling processes.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Experience with physician scheduling software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Obtain necessary information to maintain provider schedules.
• Coordinate provider availability for in-patient, out-patient, and clinic services.
• Monitor and update schedules; communicate changes to all parties.
• Address patient inquiries or direct to appropriate area.
• Update patient charts and EHR with relevant information.
• Attend scheduled meetings and participate in team activities.
