Job summary

Children's Wisconsin is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to develop schedules, enter data, and generate reports for the Clinical Resource Unit and Patient Care Services. You will ensure accuracy of the staffing database, enter data into scheduling systems, and train new users on policies and scheduling accountability.

The role also involves maintaining attendance records, assessing resource needs with leadership, and coordinating all scheduling communications.

Qualifications

  • High School graduate or GED/HSED as required.
  • 2+ years with computers and office software in a health care setting preferred.
  • Prior experience using a health system scheduling system is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains accuracy of staff scheduling/position control database for all Patient Care Services personnel.
  • Enters employee and staffing data into scheduling systems as required.
  • Trains new users on scheduling systems, policies and accountability.
  • Maintains time and attendance records.
  • Assesses staffing needs and coordinates calls for scheduling.
  • Performs system backups and maintenance as needed.
  • Verifies professional licensure/registry for patient care services as required.
  • Maintains on-call scheduling for the Patient Care Manager.
