Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Answers all incoming calls, directs to appropriate personnel, and pages clinic staff as needed.
• Schedules new, referred, and returning patients in the EMR system per physician guidelines.
• Obtains and enters referrals and related correspondence in EMR.
• Collects co-pays and other out-of-pocket amounts at the visit.
• Maintains scheduling templates and coordinates with clinical staff for appointments and tests.
• Assists with financial counseling and protects patient confidentiality according to policy.
