Job summary

CHAPA-DE Indian Health is seeking a Scheduling Specialist to build and manage provider schedules, ensuring proper coverage for Medical and Behavioral Health teams. You will monitor capacity, coordinate leave coverage, and maintain scheduling templates to support seamless patient access.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and EMR experience, plus a track record of organizing complex schedules and maintaining compliance with guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Able to manage multiple schedules while following guidelines and procedures.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and EMR is preferred.
• CDL, vehicle insurance and DMV report in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Create, manage, and adjust daily provider schedules for Medical and Behavioral Health teams.
• Monitor scheduling metrics and proactively communicate capacity and coverage needs.
• Coordinate coverage for provider leave, including locum scheduling and sick-call adjustments.
• Maintain scheduling protocols, templates, and dashboards for accuracy in group visits and availability.
• Serve as liaison between scheduling and operations to align staffing with public health goals.
