Job summary

Care IV Home Health in Fayetteville, AR is hiring a Team Assistant to schedule field staff nurses and therapists, assign patients, and serve as the main contact for scheduling questions. This full-time role reports to the Fayetteville Clinical Director and follows a 40-hour workweek from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday in our office.

Pay depends on experience. Rotating, infrequent on-call duties are required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of office experience in healthcare is required.
• Previous staff scheduling experience preferred.
• Excellent computer skills are critical to this position.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Highly organized with excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• Reliable with consistent attendance and flexibility for rotating on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Intake regarding new patient referrals.
• Assign patients to our skilled team’s schedules.
• Organize schedules by area, disciplines, times, etc.
• Keep track of patient census and staffing availability to Marketing and Intake.
• Take calls, texts, and emails from field staff and update scheduling system.
• Troubleshoot scheduling issues and reassign times as needed.
• Assist Director and Office Manager with other duties.
• Participate in paid rotating on-call duties (infrequent).
• Other duties as assigned.
