Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of related Patient Access Services (PAS) work experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive calls from physicians, patients, and walk-ins to schedule outpatient tests.
• Collect demographic, clinical and financial information (name, DOB, physician, tests, diagnosis, contact, payment).
• Coordinate test times and place on department schedules with proper test protocols.
• Inform offices/patients of scheduling details, location, and prep instructions.
• Verify physician orders for future events and document receipt.
