Job summary

You will support scheduling operations across BayCare, communicate with physician offices, collect demographic and insurance data, and follow payer guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer service or healthcare experience required.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling patient procedures accurately and efficiently
• Collecting demographic, insurance, and procedure information
• Providing exceptional service to internal and external customers
• Delivering clinical examination instructions to patients
• Documenting patient responses to clinical screening questions
• Maintaining communication with physician offices and hospital departments regarding scheduled procedures
• Understanding and applying payer authorization guidelines
• Performing general clerical duties including answering phones, data entry, and correspondence
• Supporting scheduling operations across the BayCare Health System
• Traveling within the BayCare service area as needed
• Performing other duties as assigned
